Cuba is Back

Uruguay decision to accept US proposal to give asylum to former Guantanamo detainees has been part of the deal that put back on track the relation between US and Cuba. Cuba’s reintegration into regional life, after decades of US ostracism, represents the victory of a Latin American political bloc different than the usual “left-leaning” one.
